The board at a glance
One table per section, with shared rails for Status, Day, Owner and Note. The board is a close checklist that fills itself with evidence as the month arrives.
Days order the work
Every row carries a close day: Preclose, then Day 1, Day 2, Day 3. Day is the second column, and rows order themselves by it: change a row's day and it moves to where that day's work sits. The board reads top to bottom in the order the close actually runs.
Statuses

| OPEN | Nothing has arrived yet. The row states what it is waiting for. |
| DRAFT | The board has read a file and computed a draft. Set automatically when a draft lands; a draft is never a posted number. |
| CLOSED | The work is done and confirmed. |
| N/A | No activity this period, with the reason stated. |
The little conveniences
Columns resize by dragging the header edges and your widths are remembered. Rename any row by right-clicking its name. Long entry names are capped in the row with the full name on hover. Notes sit on the row and open on hover.
The event log
Every change is appended to a log that nobody can edit: who did it, what changed, and when, taken from your sign-in identity and the server clock. When an entry is exported or posted, the log records who confirmed it. This is the audit trail your reviewer will actually use.
The AI drafts. A human confirms. Nothing posts to the ledger on its own. Everything on this page tightens attention on that rule; nothing replaces it.
